This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is new, with very modern amenities. There are a lot of open spaces for gathering, the kitchen area is very large. There are appropriately separate areas for young children and older kids to gather. The grounds are very nice, there is a large grill. We were able to bring our boat up close to the property. The location is very secluded, yet with convenient access to Garden City, etc. The manager is very attentive. We are planning to stay again next summer.
We didn't ask for a discount, but wanted to give helpful feedback. They shrugged it off. We later gave more detailed written feedback to the manager, Mark, wanting to help them get it right in the future. Four weeks and so far, no response. Cool house and fun location, but for this price, I would have expected better.
It was a great private location with fenced yard and room for the kids to run and play. Wonderful kitchen and picnic tables on the deck for a large group. Quick access to North Beach at Bear Lake and wonderful views of the lake from the cabin. Very clean and wonderful to have a washer and dryer on site.
My family and I stayed at a beautiful and well stocked cabin. The manager was very accommodating and allowed us to check in a little early and check out a little late. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to our next stay. Thank you for everything. Sincerely, the Wittner's.
We had a great time staying at the newly built Raspberry Retreat. The view of the lake was awesome. The home had everything you would need for a great getaway. There was plenty of beds, and bunk beds although they were not all that comfortable. We had 21 of us staying there and we never had enough hot water. I can only imagine if you had 30+ people as it says it holds you would never have any hot water. For the size of house it's needs a bigger or better hot water tank. The only other complaint is parking. There is definitely not enough especially when you can't park on the street.
Great house - poorly managed. We stayed at Beach Front Manor which was a great house in it's day with a fantastic location. However, we were very disappointed with how poorly the property had been cleaned and maintained. Some examples: dirty carpets, some rooms had been vacuumed and some had not, used band-aid on floor, hair in the shower, lipstick on the mirror, garbage behind the toilet, basic wipe but dust in many places, cup watermarks, etc. The house was also run down: window that wouldn't close (letting in flies and mosquitoes), poorly fitting doors and windows, the front door sealed shut, and general disrepair.
