We have rented from Epic a few times. The staff is always great and their watercraft are usually new and in great condition. Prices are a little expensive but you can’t beat the convenience of renting right there on the beach of Ideal Beach Resort.

Everything about our interaction with epic was absolutely amazing. My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed our stay. If you get here during the week it's pretty slow at least it was for us. We got lucky enough to get Campground number one which has full access and view to the lake which is absolutely stunning. The views of the mountains and the Crystal Blue Water are absolutely breathtaking. We woke up every morning eager to see the sunrise and stayed up every night to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. It is a very small Campground, only about 12 campsites. They have very modern bathrooms period two showers, two things, one toilet that is enclosed with a door and then a urinal for the men. And then on the opposite side for the ladies it's the same thing but with two toilets. Very nice modern bathroom. You can tell they've just spent some money on updating that. Very reasonable pricing. I think our rate was right around 30 or $35 a night and we were very happy with everything about epic. We even went downtown and rented some four wheelers and had a blast going up in the mountains and getting completely muddy one day. This small Campground will treat you like family, not just another name or number. Give them a try. Very friendly campers that we met also from there. I would definitely return and I would definitely recommend you to anyone that asked me about where to stay.
We rented a boat from Epic and it was very nice. We even put our shade tents and hung out at their beach. I'd recommend these guys for Bear Lake rentals vs the other rental companies. They care about their equipment and they even had one of their employees at the dock the entire day to help launch, dock, get equipment in and out of the boat, etc.
We have rented a boat from epic the past 4 years. 3 of the years the water level was too low and you waded out to the boat (+ for large beach because low water levels, a small negative for not being able to hop right on the boat). But no biggie. This year the level was high so we could hop on the boat... but as a consequence no beach! (But are you really gonna blame the functionality and use of their docs an beaches on the water level that they can't control?) Lol! That's crazy. Reviewing their boating rentals is what I am after- not them trying to control the elements. They have always been very polite, accommodating, and have the best prices and cancellation policy out there. 4 years and running for our yearly boating trip. They have super nice showers you can clean off with after the trip, which makes a long drive home a lot more comfy. We always use Epic!
