Really nice camp grounds. They have restrooms, showers, water, electricity. Made camping much more pleasant this year. Beach is within walking distance. Loved being able to use pool for the kids.

Overall, I think they're doing themselves a disservice calling it a resort - it sets expectations too high. It's a campground that caters more to RVs than tents with some cabins (with school surplus chairs!) and a small hotel.

GOOD 2. Our boat rental experience was so wonderful. Plenty of life jackets, we got the water toys we wanted on a busy weekend and even though we reserved for 4 hours they let us only pay for the time we used since we ended up being on the water for about 2.5 hours. VERY easy to work with and pleasant. Equipment was in great shape and everything worked the way it should.

GOOD 1. Our friend dropped his phone in the water by the boat rental dock and an employee JUMPED IN the water and rescued it!! So awesome!!

OVERALL: absolutely loved our experience and would love to rent from them again!

This is a nice RV park with several adequate and clean condos. It has its own private beach access close by. The people running it were friendly and helpful.

But, don't expect much in terms of amenities. Wifi? Well, it does exist but I swear there's only one router for the whole place. Most of the sites won't be able to access it. They've expanded west with brand new sites that look great but there's been no increase in bathroom capacity over yonder leaving quite a walk for tent dwellers. And speaking of the bathrooms let's just charitably say they could use a revamp.

BAD 3. There was a guy who told us we couldn't park in the dropoff area even though it wasn't clearly marked. We did move, but he was grumpy about it. We advised that they should mark everything more clearly because it was obvious many others didn't get the memo as well.

As far as camping facilities go, you will find all the basic necessities. There is a mix of full and partial hookups for RVs. They have a friendly, helpful staff and a pool. And of course, beach front access to Bear Lake (though the rising lake has left a rather small beach that fills up early in the morning - that's not fair to blame on management.) They often provide activities on the big weekends of the year. The condos are nicely furnished though the hotel rooms didn't scream excitement.

Never used the hotel because of camper. Blue Water Resort has wonderful facilities that are really well maintained. Perfect sand beach that isn't too crowded (even on Saturdays). Has a nice hot tub, swimming pool, and shower. I come here every summer and it's so much fun. Being pet friendly is a huge bonus!
