Nice park for the kids and plenty of room to walk around. Talk a stroll down the boardwalk to the beach where the kids can learn more about Bear Lake through signposts. A great way to spend a couple of hours.
Good spot to just get outside and away from the typical shops and stuff of a tourist town. There is a playground and lots of open grassy area. There is also some parking and a boardwalk down to the lake.
Nice, free beach access area with bathrooms, drinking fountain and even a hot outdoor shower. There's not a ton of beach area so it can get packed, especially if the water is high, but if you get there early you'll get a spot. Also has convenient kayak and paddle board rentals right there at the beach.
Great place to swim with my dogs. Normally, I would give this 5 stars, but the water is so high there is almost no beach this year. The boardwalk is great access, and there are some interpretive signs telling you about the lake and the area. There is a rest room and rinse station, and kayak/paddle board rental. A couple of picnic tables in the trees. Because of the high water, it was pretty crowded with even a dozen families, but we could still swim. The upper park has a nice playground, covered pavilion and good grassy area. Ample parking and always seems well maintained.
Swings, slides, lot's of things for the kids to climb. Covered picnic area and grills available. Beach access.
